USCCA Gun Law Update – California and Hawaii’s Gun Control Battle (Sensitive Locations)
▶ FREE Gun Law Map: https://uscca.co/y9ZW
The May v. Bonta case involves a legal fight about gun rights in California and Hawaii. After the Supreme Court’s Bruen decision, these states had to allow people to carry guns outside their homes but made strict rules about where guns could be carried. A judge blocked some of these rules, but a three-judge panel decided to let some of them stand. One judge disagreed with the panel’s decision, saying they used the wrong historical examples to justify the rules. The case could eventually be taken to the Supreme Court for a final decision.
