He Dropped His Rifle Running From A Charging Polar Bear

A man drops his bolt-action rifle and runs from a charging polar bear… and somehow lives to tell the story.
In this video, I break down the viral polar bear encounter caught on camera — and ask the question no one else seems to be asking: Why are people still using bolt-action rifles in bear country?

This isn’t a story about animal cruelty — it’s about survival, gear failure, and the deadly consequences of not knowing your limits (or your weapon). From missed warning shots to snowmobile escapes straight out of Mario Kart, this polar bear encounter had everything except a good rifle setup.

🔫 Should you use a bolt-action or semi-auto for defense in bear country?
🐻 What’s the best caliber to stop a charging polar bear?
⚠️ And is this guy brave… or just lucky?

Watch the full breakdown and drop your thoughts in the comments — especially what YOU would carry into polar bear country.
