Fredericksburg, Texas (January 2023) –Cimarron Firearms, makers of quality replicas of Old West firearms, proudly announce they are exhibiting at the 2023 SHOT Show® at The Venetian Expo and Caesars Forum in Las Vegas, Nevada, Jan. 17 – 20, 2023 at Booth 10933. Committed to representing the cowboy action and Old West lifestyle with faithful reproductions of historic, Hollywood, and Cimarron original designed pistols and rifles, Cimarron will be present showcasing their latest models.

Cimarron Firearms will showcase the Cimarron 1911 One Ranger in .45 ACP with a quote attributed to the legendary Texas Rangers, “One Riot One Ranger,” engraved on the 4.25” barrel. Based on the original design by legendary firearms maker, John M. Browning, the Cimarron 1911 One Ranger pistol features the same innovative design features that made the 1911 an instant classic for over one hundred years. The Cimarron One Ranger is a semi-automatic, single-action pistol skeletonized trigger and hammer, front dot sight and adjustable rear sight, grip safety, and extended beavertail and slide lock. Finished in a classic black matte with highly checkered wood grips, the Cimarron One Ranger is a beautifully crafted, precision handgun perfect for everyday carry.
Cimarron will also display the Lonesome Dove Walker revolvers in .44, honoring the best-selling, Pulitzer Prize-winning novel about the end of the Old West from author Larry McMurty. The Walker .44 was the authentic standard-issue Texas Ranger pistol. Cimarron Firearms has designed and embellished the Lonesome Dove replicas with great attention to detail.
The Lonesome Dove Walker .44 features a 9-inch barrel in a charcoal blue finish, a white engraved cylinder, and a case-color hardened finish on the frame and hammer. The trigger guard and grip frame are in brass, with a steel backstrap, and finely figured walnut grips sporting a cartouche. The guns are authentically marked, one with “Capt. Augustus McCrae, Texas Rangers Frontier Battalion” down the backstrap and his Texas Ranger Division “E Company No. 120” on the left side of the frame and barrel, and the other with “Capt. Woodrow F. Call, Texas Rangers Frontier Battalion” and “E Company No. 119.”
Lever-action rifles that protected ranches, herds, and stagecoaches, pistols that rode into battle and defined our Western history, and firearms carried by rustlers, bandits, Rangers, and Sheriffs, painstakingly reproduced for cowboy action competition, collecting, hunting, defense, or just plain old plinking will be on display at the Cimarron Firearms booth at this year’s SHOT Show.
