Are the Hurdles Being Cleared for Confiscation in Illinois?

Washington Gun Law President, William Kirk, begins to explore the scenario in which the Illinois State Government would actually attempt a confiscation efforts of now banned "assault weapons." Today we examine two major hurdles that would have to be overcome by the State before they could really attempt something like this. This first being, can they even fund a confiscation effort? The second, is could they afford to pay Illinois’ citizens for the value of the property they seize from the.
