Washington Gun Law President, William Kirk, dicusses the casaae of Higbie v. James, a case filed by GOA and others in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of New York which challenges New York’s antiquated laws whichh do not allow for any non-resident to obtain a carry permit, nor does the State of New York recognize any other carry permits. The result means that the only individuals who who can actually "bear" arms are New York residents. Can you think of any other Constitutional Right that you lose merely by crossing a state line.
